Out of all The National side projects, this is by far the best. This actually competes against National bests imo

Yep. It has a “back to basics” feel that is refreshing. The album didn’t need all the usual bells and whistles, the lyrics and melodies are excellent enough to stand on their own

I liked Sleep Well Beast, but it's definitely not anywhere near my favorite National albums. I'd actually put the El Vy album above it tbh.
I Am Easy To Find unfortunately was a huge disappointment to me. There's definitely some amazing standout tracks, but vast majority of it was forgettable to me.

well i def loved SWB so many standouts on there for me.as for IAETF it took quite awhile for me to warm up to that album.
