theDonandOnlyyeah I feel like for some reason the Get Lucky/Blurred Lines/Happy/Come Get It run he had is still a reference for people. I don't really get it because for me the Neptunes/NERD/Kelis/Clipse/NORE/Mystikal stuff he was doing in the 2000s stands up way better outside of Get Lucky
But Just a Cloud Away becoming a hit for the first time this year does make it seem like artists could still have success with that sound
Maybe part of it is that Pharrell run and things like Uptown Funk or Taylor's 1989 feel like the last time we had big pop moments that felt old school so Lizzo or whoever want to recreate that

they did Clipse/Neptunes dirty on not supporting them after Lord Willin blew up though so it has happened to him before
