This will be literally a glorified pc, completely useless piece of hardware unless pricing is REALLY convenient, and even then i doubt it'll find any big following.
And crine at Sony being scared of xbox after they basically sabotaged themselves and been doing it for a decade+

A console with access to steam library + steam sales/key sites would be crazy ngl. That’s insane value and idk if Sony exclusives are enough to beat that just from a value standpoint

Xbox Live finally dying off with this new console

    Fuck paid online

At that point why not just buy a PC though? Especially if they launch at $1000+, idk why anyone would pay that to be locked down without any upgrades you can do yourself.

Wait til you discover Xbox key’s are the new wave and the cheapest of them all.

    Re9 already $35 Xbox keys

They could go $850. You gotta keep in mind most pc players don’t have a pc that can even match a ps5 pro

That’s actually pretty nice. I figured they would be about the same as ps keys. Xbox has been a solid pick this gen if you care about prices

Slay the spire 2 most wishlisted game on steam just released as early access but consoles will have to wait another 1-2 years to play

Not this Xbox. It would have it day 1 while PS5 owners would have to wait 2 years. Same would’ve happened with hades 2

Itll have faster updates, way better mod support, the largest game library oat

not realizing Sony is just Xbox’s Apple is your first mistake, who cares lmfao

I still remember getting a Egypt key
for BG3 for like $25 the day it came to Xbox

Ps keys sadly havnt existed in like 5+ years since Sony banned generating keys for games to sell on other marketplaces like Amazon and such

lol yep got the same deal

They didn’t shut them down. They shut down using Egyptian / Argentinian credit cards for those not in country. But you can still generate keys by buying gift copies. And you can activate those keys still with a vpn

@NewYorkCity @Nikedufflebag the reason people choose consoles over PCs is their plug and play nature and their affordability. This new xbox would have none of those and would be stuck in an awkward limbo where it inherits the worst of each option. The one thing it could have going for it is if its a relatively affordable alternative to a gaming pc

I think to address the affordability issue they will do what they did with this current gen where you have your series s or whatever they want to call it and your series x equivalent.

They announced this week they are no longer porting their games to PC. They are saying it’s because of low sales but the real reason is this new Xbox

  • I want to believe

  • Mar 6

Before the end of the year, they’ll cancel it.

  • I just bought a project helix a few months ago
