I had someone kinda explain it to me, and it made me think on, couldn't our documents that are traditionally just paper such as a birth certificate, social security card, ID be an NFT?

Yep, deeds to cars, property, even shoes or concert tickets. It has a lot of potential. Digital art probably the least interesting thing nft can do

I know they ain't, but that's what is the only thing being used for NFT's right now for a general use. I'll be waiting for the better tech for use situations with NFT's after the Eth network uses less energy.

Man I bought some coins that rely heavily on NFTs a few months ago. Though the NFT hype would last at least until the end of the year.

there was a minor crypto retracement before the major crash late may, but my leading NFT token basically went in half from his manic peak

thats when I realized this might not be the wave

it'll always have some type of market, just bc there's a few things that funnel through there that are legitimately ground breaking.

and artists that did establish a following there like beeple, will survive and inspire at least someone decent to follow in their foot steps. but unfortunately, repackaging pepe memes unfortunately wont bang anymore

And they’re an OG from like 2017? I think the NFT core base has expanded from this frenzy, and they’ll always be considered a core part of the crypto experience now. Still a W overall for that subsection

Cuz they heard some bulls hit about the environment whilst eating some processed meat and drinking some cancerous drink in a plastic bottle

The concept will have value in the future (particularly when VR starts to rocket in popularity in about a decade and you can utilize your NFT art/clothing/etc in a VR world) but the pricing got way hyper-inflated rn.

The big prices were caused by early adopters with new money and opportunities for money laundering. Long term NFTs will still be a thing but it needs years of work for someone like Valve or Activision to get into it
