damn some of y'all sound like you got scammed by these and are in denial.
Don't worry, there will be other scams and if you get in early enough the next time maybe you can make some money
idk why a lot of ya are so against nfts. It's not only limited to art lol
that s*** has zero actual value
you own a unique hash that pertains to an item, you don’t even own the item itself and there’s no significance in regards to the hash other than the fact it relates to an item
at least dogecoin was a currency that was being hyped for no reason other than the fact that it was hyped and you’d make money from it
NFT’s make no sense at all

Nft art ot nft in general have 0 value ?
In the form of holograms, screen projected art galleries, this could’ve been something given in the right hands
And they’re an OG from like 2017? I think the NFT core base has expanded from this frenzy, and they’ll always be considered a core part of the crypto experience now. Still a W overall for that subsection
Idk if they're the og, but they're basically what inspired topshot
i regret not getting into this early and selling KTT emotes as NFTs for hundreds of thousands of dollars
This was expected lmao
NFTs and the technology behind it is literally going no where. This was just the beginning. It will only evolve from here
Nft art ot nft in general have 0 value ?
the value is entirely arbitrary and has zero use, compared to currency which is at least tied to material market patterns
NFT art isn’t even the same as selling physical art, you’re selling a hash that pertains to owning the original copy of digital art, regardless of how many copies. It’s functionally useless because you can just copy paste and nobody gives a s*** about your original hash.
NFTs for physical goods are even more useless because then you then technically own the HASH, not even the piece itself
it became a gold rush very quickly. guilty myself of trying to cash in on it.
I think they'll remain a thing and there will be fun and practical uses for them, but the collapse was definitely needed to weed out the people involved for the wrong reasons.

In terms of digital art, yes that is true but in other cases NFTs can be linked to physical art, where the seller is able to sell the art and the nft supports the purchase as certification of its authenticity. NFTs used in this fashion is valuable as it basically prevents buyers from buying fakes and replicas.
It really just a matter on how it's use. In it's current capacity NFTs for digital art is practically useless but I can see it evolving as the digital art space evolves

Yeah the crash im assuming is mostly people dropping out who invested because NPR told them to (which was the majority of ppl shoving this s*** down our throats)

Good luck trying to explain this to idiots

There’s some great use cases where nfts really shine. I’m watching a few companies in supply chain and finance. But asset tokenization of RWA is the future IMO. Tokenizing loans and funding those loans through distributing tokens rather than a credit facility
yea them early sells this year (crypto punks, beeple, etc) def boosted the numbers overall. like all markets, this is somewhat manipulated as well. plus speculators are leaving the space too. but s*** if u f*** with it just cop what u like. I recently swapped some art to own a section in smokepurps prom queen video lol
