truth is most people don’t really care about being consistent on things and are ultimately hypocritical.

If it works for you it’s great, if it works against you it’s a problem. The other side has the same logic and then both sides finger point and say the other would feel differently if the shoe was on the other foot. It’s all circular and you see it all the time especially on the internet.
