ive had her for like 2.5 years and she’s only bit once, and that was when we first took her home and tried to give her a bath
since then, never! they are mostly defensive animals as opposed to offensive.
but they can be temperamental and unfriendly unless you make it a point to bond with them. and even then, sometimes, they don’t change
but they are solitary animals and like to live alone so that’s probably why
what's he gonna be for halloween? @hotpancakes
this I have not thought about yet
my gf did make a birthday hat for its birthday and it hated tho lmao so idk if we even could dress her up successfully
probably my favorite post on this whole forum

I've had both at various points in my life, and ferrets require a lot more time and work. Make sure that you do plenty of research on both and make an informed decision. A lot of people get ferrets because they're so cute without realizing what it takes to have one and then they get rid of it within a few months. I'm sure something similar happens with hedgehogs. That's not really fair to the animal.
Anyways. Awesome thread, OP. She's adorable.

and yep your correct, definitely similar with hedgehogs. more work than most people anticipate, but manageable for sure
