Realized Mike Chav didn't engineer this record at all aside from the old SST mix, and he's a big part of the 'classic' Jay E sound. His vocals on here did sound different to me.

If the Rex Mills thing turns out to be promo for Jeymes' new s***, and I think it is, then that probably means new Jay without the commercial constraints. His verses on Jeymes' projects are stellar.
