the idea that the "abrahamic entity god" emerged out of a vacuum is false, history isnt discontinuous like that

its the result of the interactions of belief systems dating back to pre-Neolithic times, and many of these systems had nothing to do with "laws" and everything to do with attaching symbolic meaning to the world around us

and science is useful but it doesn't obviate or answer those metaphysical questions. neither does religion at this point, but it is the beginning of that intellectual progression and should be given that respect IMO
