They haven't finished filming, the actors strike isn't over and even if it does end this week they probably won't be able to finish shooting until January. Then they gotta go into post production.

So of course the blame is put in the studio for the delay because they haven't made a deal on the new SAG contract yet

the gap between The Batman and this show is unnecessarily long and losing any momentum you had from the movie
