    You either are or aren't lmao. You're probably a social democrat or liberal who wants to seem enlightened so you want to call yourself a Centrist.

    Social liberals are pretty centrist in the political scale tho, maybe not in the American usage

    Classic liberals call themeselves libertarians now and are often right wing. Social liberals may care about minorities and women rights and general social left things, but they are still often capitalists, and support the free market, which keeps them from being solidly left

    It’s literally having strong stances on specific principles that may not always align with one side of the political spectrum. It’s that simple

    I mean they’re asking questions in a non detailed way. Like I’m not gonna say businesses require no regulation but I think the market should be more free in some regards than it currently is
