I agree with you on a surface level but you didn't provide any reasoning to back up your claim. It was written like a vibe tweet tbh.

Didn’t really think it needed reasoning. It’s pretty straightforward. More of a PSA

I agree that all too often people deny that things have any depth when it does

Anti-intellectualism is one the staples of ktt tho so don't expect people to agree with you here, i think it's an american thing tbh

You would be right. Sum bout our school system

The “it is that deep” mentality also has its problems.

Actually, you’re not wrong. Like everything in life, there’s a middle ground

SJWs are less of a problem than the people they are seeking social justice against.

It was rly weird to me how ktt users always made fun of effort posts and stuff

But then i remember most users are from the country that elected Bush twice and Trump

Think it stems from a historical insecurity americans had about all the big brain western philosophers coming from europe and western europeans having a more sophisticated culture in a sense whereas the US could be more typifies by the wild west

I completely believe that this can be found in the education system as well tho

This is an example of it not being that deep

Same as the "Is KTT really the place to discuss _?" posts. Hate those. Just because you are ignorant about a topic doesn't mean everyone else is. Thats the whole point of the internet bro.

Even worse when its like page 2 or 3 of a thread that already has a discussion going.
