exactly. even without that, we've even heard multiple different vocals of this song from the leaks, proving he must have kept going back to it. and he ended up getting trav to do the lines he had originally about the death penalty and stuff so they probably f***ed around with the structure a lot on this one

yeah for me a lot of the criticism I'm hearing is more how I felt about the ye album.

not all of it, cos the intro and final verse was odd/chunky but a lot of this song's hooks/verses sound like he could have made them in the early 2010s or something.

I feel like KTT hyper critical about ye tho. I'm not seeing many people hate on this, maybe I just haven't seen it. but everything I've seen online is people saying they aren't f***ing with Kanye for non musical reasons so instantly don't care about the track or people liking this one. most of the hate I've seen been on the man's own forum

I just think what he's done with this release is great. why can't people just appreciate it for what is rather than asking if it's as good as this or that. like how could anybody think music or hip hop would have been better off without Kanye dropping this video and song this week. he actually started a conversation with this too and made people think. same can't be said for a lot of our biggest stars, obviously with exceptions like Kendrick. that's what really counts to me and as long as he's bringing something worthwhile to the table, why hate just cos you don't think it's as good as Jesus walks or runaway or whatever

I mean tbh most people irl prefer TLOP to yeezus and TLOP does have multiple classic level Kanye songs. ULB, no more parties, fade, father stretch, real friends, saint Pablo etc. That's Kanye at his best. obviously I'm not a big fan of highlights but at the end of the day he was making amazing music in 2016. He was easily a top 5 artist that year in quality of his peaks for any genre
