He hasn’t operated like that since that era. Dumb to want/expect an MBDTF every album cycle
This would work except he’s been operating like Yeezus for every project since lol
KSG out now
Yikes out now
All Mine out now
Follow God out now
Selah out now
WASH US IN THE BLOOD OUT NOW
the rapping was probably the worst thing about the new track. but it is improved, and everything else is miles better than any song from the past few years

You sound upset
that doesn't bother me tho, cos who actually has a flawless discog without naming people that broke up, retired or died
To me, an artist with ye's track record should be able to make and put out music whenever they want even if it's not what the fans want from them. And if he had to keep a flawless discog we would never have got amazing songs like Cudi Montage or Brothers
If music isnt the Focus then retire from music Having side projects is not an excuse for making mediocre music. Jay-Z runs a lot of businesses but 444 was still great.
The rapping on all mines<<<<
The lyrics are not that great but his flow and delivery are actually really good to me.
Lmao, I remember that Late Registration thread from back in the day (that was posted recently) where LR was called trash and nonsense. Almost 14 years later we still having these threads.
Now they praising TLOP that they hated just to hate on this single? Wash this thread in the blood fr

I just don't think that's that realistic for Ye. Also what you're saying about Hov isn't really the same situation in some ways. Even on 4:44 I've heard jay rap better than that when he was first coming out around RD and later on projects like BP, but probably because he gets to focus on music more, that was flawless production from No-ID as good as any point in his career. No-ID imo outproduced what How was doing vocally.
I'd say the same thing about Hov too anyway, surely he's not the person you go to for perfect albums only. Kingdom Come was mid, but he made Lost One on that album which I love and play all the time, so it was worth that album coming out for that alone. Plus show me what you got meant we got to hear Wayne rap over that beat :
Classic albums are amazing, and Ye's got like 5-6 of them and produced on another 3-4 classic albums for other people. But obsessing over perfection really takes away from what makes music great. if ye can put some meaningful music out there that's gonna connect with some people then he should. why would wanna take that away from music just so stans get to pretend he's still who he was when he was his late 20s/early 30s. He's not that person anymore. And he probably feels like he can't stop doing music, it's part of his brand even after all the success with fashion.
For him to actually rap good because he’s a rapper?
This post was being made on forums when College Dropout was new
“You left your fridge open, somebody just took a sandwich” is a real line on TLOP and we’re saying this is worse?
He’s more focused on the sound than the lyrics that’s why
The production is also been mid

Jay's rapping at its worst is cool. Kanye waa never the greatest rapper so he doesn't have the luxury that jay has. Kanye's rapping nowadays is the worst rapping I've ever heard from a legend
Nigga that beat is hardd
This best is good but outside of this & on God his production is at a all time low. It's so stripped back that it's barely anything their

idk give me follow god, cudi montage and brothers verses over anything Em's dropped recently
but yeah I get what you're saying and it's a good point. Because Kanye doesn't have the natural rapping talent of someone like How or the singing talent of someone like Andre in a traditional way his music has to be even better to make up for it, so he sets himself for having to reach a very high standard

I wouldn't say a whole choir is barely anything there Follow God the most popular track from JiK legit sounded like something he could have made in like 2003, so that's not a drop in quality.
But there are some songs where I agree with you-like Use This Gospel, even Yeezus/Pablo ye wouldn't have had that song that underproduced.
