Yeah? Nothing new under the sun obviously
“evergreen” in this context just means it’s something that never goes bad or outdated. They meant “the police are going insane” is something that will always be relevant no matter when it’s posted because, well, the police are f***ing insane!
What are your thoughts on the current protests? I don’t follow politics of France, as someone from there are the protests just about retirement age going up by two years, or is it deeper? What is the feeling in France?
I think they're about that but also just people being tired with macron and his government they clearly aren't fit for the job anymore (if they ever were)

Ooh I didn't know that was what it meant

I don't know if y'all know but the retirement age in France is low af
France normalized their protests to the point where outsiders think it's just part of an yearly tradition
That makes no sense

tiktok usage vs instagram usage
I don't know if y'all know but the retirement age in France is low af
Yeah I'm aware, does that mean we have to be OK with them pushing it back lol? Especially when the working conditions aren't up to par, just because things are worse elsewhere doesn't mean we have to satisfy ourselves with a worse situation
Also I don't think retiring at 62 is that low, nobody in their right mind wants to work until that age
Especially when the reasoning behind it makes no sense
The pensions will also remain affordable if the retirement age remains 62 years, despite the aging population?
Also I don't think retiring at 62 is that low, nobody in their right mind wants to work until that age
Ofc, but that's not really the problem here
That makes no sense
I don’t think that’s why they are banning TikTok but it’s interesting that Zuckerberg chooses to sensor his app like that right?

Facebook and other Big Tech companies have faced a lot of political pressure over the years, been in Congress getting grilled like Tik Tok was, as recent as last year. If they were China owned they would have been out of here because everyone knows they got too much power as is.
In terms of that specific tweet I thought it was silly becauss IG isn't really built for trending s*** like that. Idk what the algorithm is for the hashtags but its always been useless to find news. I've always had to turn to Twitter even just for reactions to celebrity or sporting news because the hashtags just showed irrelevant out of date s***.
Also the notion US politicians would wanna censor news about protests in France made it make even less sense
