Thom in the past supported Jonnys view point about not boycotting or protesting playing in Israel. But Ed did the same and has called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Thom Yorkes son, Tom Skinner of the Smile as well as the Smiles producer Sam Petts-Davies (and Stanley Donwood more or less) have also all called for ceasefires and/or condemned Israels warcrimes.

I'd honestly guess that Thom values his creative partnership with Jonny more than anything so he doesnt want to say anything that would put that at risk.
