Not really, Kamikaze and MTBMB were mostly good projects except for some silly tracks and LTWYL remakes

i know kamikaze "sounded" better than revival, but the primary subject matter (him responding to the revival hate which was extremely justified and throwing shots out to random people for the f*** of it still made it damn near unlistenable for me tbh

didn't check out MTBMB tho so i'm not gonna comment on that.

Kamikaze was not throwing random shots at anyone. It was him being tired of being a better person and not responding to other people that have been constantly attacking him for years.

That's basicly what the whole album was about, it was him letting his anger out that he's been holding onto for many many years.

It's basicly " Ok, y'all can say all this about me so ima say what i feel"

This is what makes me laugh about people that try to a***yze the album, how come people can s*** on Em for years and as soon as he opens his mouth and he respons he's sensitiv, he's a hater etc etc.

fam he really deserved all the flak he was getting because despite being one of the goats, he had been putting out utter f***ing garbage for years and years.

and better way to go about this would have been to just be the best instead of addressing the people who doubted him about that.

He did adress them tho, Kamikaze was him adressing the people that been dissing him and disrespecting him.

He went overboard sometimes and spoke also on some (very few) rappers who he considered bad. He also pointed out during those times that it's just HIS opinion tho and that it's not facts.

IF he deserves flak for dropping s***, they deserve a respons. It's hiphop aint it? He decided to do what he loves. He responded on wax on a record and did it good.

most people who listen to hip-hop in general, and not the crowd who "hates rap but listens to eminem" agrees that those albums had some real f***ing stinkers in the tracklist.

they are not specifically critiquing his pen game. no one in their right mind would critique eminem's pen game. they just say that he made bad f***ing music for an extended portion of his later discography.

the only trash album he has is Revival, not a fan of kamikaze or MTBMB but they are passable

everything before Revival is at least good

I'm Shady and Role Model are my fav songs, but I see OP's point, I care about beats a lot and they really didn't age well
