I think someone explained pages before but most likely Paulie was involved with what happened too and I don't see him looking for her, more likely acting dumb about the whole situation.
Meadow might try to incriminate who was behind the assassination but she'll definitely step in something bigger than her and will be forced to leave the case and cope with the trauma in other ways.

What year was? I think dude is alive but took a dark path. I see him being a junkie, being homeless or something like that.
About Carmela? I don't really have an headcanon for her, maybe she called Furio shortly after and went from a mobster to another, risking to be twice a widow?

Tony just told Carm that Furio "had to go back to Italy," but it seems implied he had Furio whacked after he realises something's there between the two of them

Yeah I just looked it up, I was a bit off - Furio goes back to Italy after Tony gets sus during the helicopter scene. Later, Tony finds out how Carm felt about him, then later says he now has people looking for Furio in Italy, but we never hear more after that.

Guess they could always reveal that Tony's connections never found him

Was Furio a Tony man or from a family of Italy? Because if it's the latter wouldn't this be a bad move and turn the relationship between Italy families and NJ families sour? Sending someone for Furio is a wild decision for me and no matter the outcome, Tony would appear still a cuck if they discovered Furio was whacked for this reason. I guess Tony is emotionally instable and a wild card when we talk about his boss choices, still, my headcanon is that Furio is alive.

Yeah I can def see it from either side of the fence, Furio was sent over from Italy for memory after Tony's visit there, but I seem to remember he was instructed to be like 100% loyal to Tony, almost like he was gifted to Tony's Fam or whatever. So I imagine if Tony had him whacked then explained that Furio was trying to f*** his wife, the Italians would probably get the picture. Could go either way though, much like his actual fate.

The Don in Italy didn't want to give him up initially he was her cousin and her best guy.
