I just finished S1 and a lot of people said it was their least favorite?? This is a solid ass start
Great season, but you'll see when the show goes on just how much it developed its own personality. Not that season 1 is bad but it really grew in scope and depth after that

It’s definitely the weakest season imo but tht’s solely due to the sheer quality of the tv program as a whole
Every time I see this thread title I wonder to myself, why did they force that weak ass prequel?!
theres not a single show that was able to reach the highs the sopranos did and with the very last season being the absolute best theyve ever done

the basement scene when Tony realizes Jimmy’s the rat is a masterclass in filmmaking
Guy was not subtle at all
Walking into tonys house like homer did when he walked into moes wearing a wire

for real but I’m talking more specifically about the directing of it, the way the camera pans and has Tony switch from left to right once it clicks

I blame it on the creator for trying to shove in all that riot stuff cuz that’s the movie he really wanted green lit and it didn’t fit at all with the rest of the movie we all wanted more young Tony lol
His b**** ass supposedly turned hbo down for a young Tony series cuz he thinks he’s above tv now and should be making movies for theaters. Bro should have been on his knees thanking them for offering him anything after this movie belly flopped
Just finished the last episode
This is the best show ever
F***kkk
how did you like the ending? I thought it was incredible!!!!

The look of “I won” satisfaction he had
"Three men —a priest, a monk, and a rabbi— are sitting in a bar when they see Jesus walk in. After they buy him a drink, Jesus offers to heal them as a gesture of gratitude.
He touches the priest, who’s been suffering from chronic joint pain, and the pain disappears immediately. Then, Jesus touches the monk, who’s had poor hearing, and his hearing becomes perfect.
When Jesus reaches out to heal the rabbi, the rabbi quickly steps back and says, "Don't touch me! I'm on total disability!"
That song they play twice during the season finale of S5 always gets me. What a f***ing finale
As if he wasn’t killing it already, season 3 rolls around and gandolfini takes it to unseen levels.
There will never be another performance like this
Lmao Johnny sack’s reaction to Tony suggesting power sharing arrangement with carmine
