Outstanding episode
I just finished watching for the first time and I’m definitely going to have to sit with it. I had a lot of small issues with the show but it’s still one of the best I’ve ever seen. It had a soul that other “great” shows just can’t match. I don’t know if there’s ever been a performance like Gandolfini’s portrayal of Tony.
Outstanding episode
didn't realize until now that Steve Buscemi directed it. it was the first of 4 episodes he directed. pretty amazing he came in with that classic

show isnt perfect, the only perfect show is breaking bad that ive seen. But Sopranos got more soul and heart and I'd rewatch any day over breaking bad lmao
Wtf is this vito storyline
One of my only gripes with season 6. His storyline went on too long and felt way too utopian for me once he found that little town to hide out in.

To some extent it was an interesting way to illustrate how addicted those guys were to the mob lifestyle. He could’ve lived openly as a gay man and had found someone who gave him a lot of chances, yet ultimately he abandoned it to try to capture his old life again.

I feel you. I understood what Chase was trying to get across but outside the humor of the situation Vito as a character didn't really move me. I love everything about season 6 outside of that storyline.
Christopher goes out like that? What the f\*\*\*, man.
One of the best episodes of the entire series imo. Tony really went over the edge after that, from admitting to murdering P\*\*\*\* to Melfi, being upset at Chrissy's funeral & the ending. Seeing him justify all the s\*\*\*ty things he's responsible for like that was just so disturbing

I sometimes forget that we shouldn't be rooting for Tony. He's not human.

Absolutely, I love that the show reminds us of that constantly despite him being such a funny & lovable character at times. Best anti-hero in a t.v. series ever.
I’m ready to begin my journey with this show

the one where tony goes giovannis family house on Christmas and sprays that thing and kills everyone at the dinner table
Better question: If you could pick any episode to be a full length movie which would it be? Or which episode could serve as a great movie on its own?
Reason I ask is because I read Chase originally had plans to release the college episode as a stand alone film if Sopranos didn’t get picked up
