also the New Deal and Eisenhower’s policies were extremely socialist
What’s socialist in 2020 was fairly centrist in the 50s and it still is in most of europe
but this time bro if we just let them make the government even bigger and put in the right people in power that they get to choose, they won't get power-hungry and corrupt
surely these same people obsessed with monitoring twitter for speech won't use that power and let it go to their head the moment they get it. surely they will do the right thing. if history has taught us anything!
The NSA has identified that this individual is a threat to society. Local law enforcement has been contacted and they will be sent to a readjustment camp for training.
What capitalist country failed
The US is doing it right now.
If anything Western Powers are responisble for the Nazis, from the treaty of Versailles to appeasement under Chamberlain, World War II was the love child of capitalism
yup
making a completely disarmed and dismantled country pay back hundreds of billions of dollars for a war instead of mutually working to rebuild and prevent war is exactly how you f*** yourself in 20 years

but sir i did not mean to tweet that in 2013
It's true. The stock market is mostly held by the top 1% of the population (I think they own somewhere about 95% of the market?) but how about instead of abolishing it, we just tax at more appropriate rates.
cause they own the companies, upping capital gains tax will only hurt the middle class, we need a higher corporate tax but that could result in a lot of companies leaving the US
What capitalist country failed
Multiple recessions would be seen as failures no?
What capitalist country failed
like every ten years in the US capitalism fails until the government bails out corporations with trillions of taxpayer dollars
which sounds a lot like socialism

What middle class
When a capitalist country fails it not cuz of capitalism but when a socialist country fails it cuz of socialism 1!!
Classic actor observer bias
there it is
do you actually understand how things are made?
why is the middle east so important?
how people drive cars?
how plastic is synthesized?
how people fly planes?
how people heat homes?
do you think all of this is magic?
Acting like the only difference between the East and West Germanywas capitalism/communism lol... You're ignoring the impact of the Marshall plan, the bonusses (essentially bribes) that high educated workers would get to defect from East Germany, access to markets that West Germany had that East Germany was blocked from, differences in industries, how much more East Germany had to pay to the USSR in reparations, the impact of the London Agreement, the difference in damage from WW2 or the historical development of East Germany before it joined the USSR.
And despite all of this, East Germany had a faster growing GDP than West Germany
I lost about $500 on tesla stocks, and totally ignored the spike back when it was going up...so I'm with OP, f*** stocks bruh
the majority of the US population
Oh you mean the lower class.
