The stock market isnt evil, peoplle are voluntarily doing things
It's evil to act unethically yes, but the market is no worse than trading yu gi oh cards at school
it comes down to
do you want evil companies allocating their capital while trying to compete against each other to make as much money as possible and innovate and cure cancer and give you iphones and facebooks
or do you want the evil government allocating the capital without competition and turning everything into a visit to your local DMV in terms of efficiency. it will be safe but nothing will ever get done again
you need a bit of both

The tax branch of many governments are beloved by their people due to their transparency in seeing where the funds go and in how easily and smoothly they handle the money. Also they see actual social benefits from their taxes instead of endless wars.
Try again.

honestly my issue of the stock market is that it's used as a measure to see how the economy's doing when we should be looking at how the people are doing, not the interests of stockholders

Stock market goes up and nothing changes for the average person.
Stock market goes down and thousands lose their jobs.

I’m not supporting that Nighas socialist ass opinion. But I saw a stat that shows that almost all stock market participants are in the top 10% of earners. Top 10% starts around like 90-100k though so hardly rich

the stock market expresses economic change, it seldom causes it
even without it, outcome would be the same lol
