I like a good laugh here and there, but I’m not looking for a comedy when I’m watching most of these CBMs. GOTG 1-2, definitely had moments that made me laugh out loud, but overall they’re definitely both low on my list of MCU movies. Just not a big fan of James Gunns style overall

It is a fun time! If you’re invested in the story (which is where I know some people weren’t and are already checked out) then those 3 hours was insanely fun from beginning to end. The hundreds of audience reaction videos, the box office. I feel like it wouldn’t have been what it was if there wasn’t a fun element to the viewing experience

If you’re not picky I feel like endgame is very easy to like and enjoy

I think everyone watched it just because its the movie they spent like 6 years building up towards it

alot of the fans of endgame think its a deep and substantial film and found it emotionally moving. I doubt most people would describe it as a fun and lighthearted watch.

That’s definitely true, but I think the essence of it and the reason they enjoying it is based on very well tested, focus room, Hollywood blockbuster plot formula. A time travel heist movie, action AND clip show, ‘revisiting the best moments’ style nostalgia stuff. Which is all fun
