*Note: In my ranking, I’m counting that as BvS Ultimate Edition, not theatrical

There’s also a pretty wide margin between Aquaman and WW84, an even wider margin between WW84 and Suicide Squad

    what site is this?

Yeah, wasn’t the biggest fan of this. I didn’t like it as much as y’all did, I just thought it was alright. Crazy how I actually preferred the Snyder cut and even Birds of Prey over this.

Same. I prefered this over Bird of Prey. But not at all over the snyder cut. Its a ...fun movie. Thats it. Nothing was won or lost

As they should. Man was on a "spiritual journey of self-discovery" the past year and a half only to turn back into a pompous snob without self-awareness.

An extra hr of a movie just to fill in plot holes doesn't make it any less boring

There’s like a super brief mention in the beginning where Boomerang is like “Harley what are you doing back in prison?” but literally that’s about it.

When the movie starts, Task Force X has been established, Waller is in charge, same rules (mission complete = 10 years off your sentence), Flagg, Boomerang, and Harley are prior members. That’s all that’s really carried over.

Like the first one happened, but if you never watched it you would be fine watching this one.

Thanks for the reply. Seeing it in imax on Sunday 🥰

Man, I loved every single minute of this.

I was smiling or laughing under my mask the whole time. The action, the music, the shots, the writing, everything was just

    Like for example, the music:
In the first Squad, it was placed in scenes just to be there and have a popular song. Like why the f*** did Without Me play while the Squad was gearing up? Here, the music matched the moment. And it wasn’t dressed like a music video, most of the music was diegetic and I love that in films.

WB let James Gunn do what he wanted and he went and made probably the best movie in the DCEU (gonna need a rewatch to confirm).

Like James Gunn got me to care about Ratcatcher and Polkadot Man.

    RATCATCHER AND POLKADOT MAN

A year ago, If anyone told me that I would give a single s*** about Polkadot Man I would’ve laughed in their face. But James Gunn did it.

Bloodsport was great, Harley was great, King Shark was great, Peacemaker, Waller, etc. all great

Gunn is at his strongest when he can write his characters how he wants.

Right now, I have zero flaws against The Suicide Squad.

Dare I say 5/5? It might’ve earned it.

Definitive rating after I rewatch tomorrow.

Have you watched the Harley Quinn animated series? I love the way they use the d-list villains on there

Nah critics going crazy cause it's finally a movie that reflected what they wanted out of a DC movie post-MCU, so they're acting like KTT users when they really like an album calling it an immediate "classic"

Clearly it's a well made, director driven movie that actually paid off during its initial theatrical run.
