FellaThe running gag with polka dot dude and his mommy issues didn’t make you chuckle at all. Harley being set up in this magical romcom sequence with a corrupt dictator only to shoot him and talk about his red flags as a boyfriend while he’s bleeding out didn’t give you even a little laugh. Nothing with the weasel dude or the shark?
Ok yeah the polka dot mom parts make me chuckle
Tbh I saw Harley killing the dictator and every other "sudden" death coming miles away
Shark and Weasle dude were too dumb for me but we liked the little rat in a vest

All those years spent relying on Batman they dont know how to do anything else vs Marvel whose always had a wide range of characters in film.
Yeah if you re gonna try to sell audience's on super obscure characters you better have some star power on deck, this prolly had alot to do with the boxoffice tbh

For me it's when the typical destruction starts (buildings falling over and s***). No joke that s*** is so mind-numbing it almost puts me to sleep.

Yeah the way he was announcing the scenes reminded me of Wes but it really seemed unnecessary

Not even that tbh Thor,Iron Man and Cap weren't sold on star power really but you have to built a company brand that people respect enough to try out new things.
People forget how heavy Marvel used the fact they made Iron Man 1 and Avengers hype to sell those films.
It was all building to something whereas these DC films even the best are thrown out with no direction and no reason to keep up or care unless you like the property already.

starro fight was so underwhelming for me
Aug 8, 2021Avoided all trailers and reviews before seeing this, really enjoyed it. Yeah there’s some dumb parts sure, but I laughed plenty throughout and left feeling entertained, which is what I wanted.
Polka Dot Man was probably my favorite, such a strange character but kept me laughing lol
