Yeah, but why name it "The" Suicide Squad? Terrible business and marketing decision on the movie title.
They wanted people to have to ask "which one" until the end of time
Did you like the movie andy dote?
Is that considered good? I know it did poorly at the box office, but I hope people see it one way or another

Animals as personified/human-like characters
They call that anthropomorphic
that s*** was hard... like sounded like something out of a centuries old play or novel
Sounded like something from Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy which is from the 80s
dont think the final fight in this was much better tbh
what made this movie so good is the action sequences (besides the last one) and the characters + jokes
the characters in this were so good
villains were very weak but they did the job, nothing amazing
Yeah I don't see how critics are saying "villains much more suitable for a suicide squad movie this time, no powerful sorceress and sky beam" when there's literally a giant city destroying starfish taking over the world with yet another "OMG LRTS GO SAVE THE WORLD GUYZ" turn by the squad. Def the weakest part of the movie. Woulda been much better if it ended after the conflict with peacemaker
So if we average that to about say 2 per household (some people prob watched solo and some had more than 2) that would be about another 56 mil they lost by putting this on streaming
Bringing that opening weekend to 82 mil which would’ve been a MUCH better result
Gotta hate those that make it seem like all the problems came from WB, and our Lord and savior Zack Snyder was innocent but got f***ed by the big evil cooperations.
WB out here trying to fix the s*** show that happened coz they gave Snyder too much power.
There is a reason why they do not want to restore the "Snyderverse" even after the success of the JL director cut.
Snyders biggest fault is being a stubborn non collaborative prick. Yeah they muddled with his vision big time, but while most filmmakers negotiate and compromise he would just say sure whatever to the stuff they d tell him to do, then go write/shoot the exact opposite
I knew MK outperformed it, but interesting to see it in comparison to all their other stuff.
Anybody know how many viewers an average episode of Loki/ WV/ F&WS gets? Obviously different circumstances, but I’m curious

Would of liked it better if he and Bloodsport would of actually fought a bit besides the bullet thing being the only thing
I'd take that ANY DAY over that stupid giant starfish set piece, that should have been handled by a real super hero in the background while bloodsport and peacemaker settled their conflict
The starfish was dumb but Harley floating inside the eye while the rats swarmed inside made for a hell of an image I'll admit
i feel like
Unless a movie is outright trash, y’all who are essentially ktt movie critics gotta let that s*** breathe man.... s*** was an enjoyable movie for a lot of people
But i know the humans desire to make their opinion heard at all costs outweighs the desire to let people enjoy things even if you don’t
Then go enjoy it elsewhere this is for discussing the movie and all things you liked or disliked, not just a place to post endless OMG SO GOOD posts, what would be the point of that lmao

Letting this breathe
it ain't an art film
But it was a success on HBO Max yet ZSJL wasn't?
The only fair comparisons are in the heights and space jam imo. But suicide squad was always going to do worse than space jam because it's rated R.
True that
I chopped it up to it being R, and the impact (good or bad) of the last movie. Cause holy s*** I saw that everywhere being promoted and trailers etc

could also be the cast and characters
the casual viewer thought Will Smith would be in this and also have no idea who these other characters are outside of Harley lmao

I think it’s more so with, “well you gotta like these niggas “ that Hollywood holds on these types of films
Out of my circle my friends/coworker liked it but ones that aren’t into comics didn’t dig it at all (hell my dad liked the first one more :
)
Idk how Hollywood deals with this it’s mind boggling with me lol
