I think that’s all pretty self explanatory tho; I’ll agree that bloodsport and peacemaker deserved more backstory but tbh I’m glad they didn’t bc both deserve individual shows/movies where that’s covered

But they actually did explain ratcatchers powers in one of the low points of the movie IMO when she started talking about her junkie father on the bus out of nowhere because bloodsport came out of nowhere projecting his daddy issues on her

It could have used maybe 20 more minutes of backstories in between the first sequence and idris scraping gum but that woulda also took away how fast it got to the “action” IMO

they really didnt explain her powers tho. theres a wand....and when you hold it they do...whatever u want?? is it telepathic? is it feelings based? im not asking for the freaking radius of effect or anything. but theres a severe lack of who these characters are and the details that made them so perfect for this particular mission.

i honestly think the rebels "subplot" could have been scrapped for even a cheesy slow mo "character sheet" as they appeared on screen like earlier in the movie did. i mean if youre gonna go for that, go for it all the way, right?

i feel like the movie was 15-20 minutes too long but thats much more nitpicky than anything ive previously stated so ima leave that sh*t alone

think it was a good amount. James Gunn gave her her moment in the film, but this isn’t a Harley movie, it’s a suicide squad movie so I think there was a good balance

her story felt almost pointless and only served to communicate things about her character we already know by now and serve as villain motivation dialogue. Went on longer then it needed to tbh.

Not mad at it, just could have served us better as a audience had some of that been shaved off for pacing
