villains in this movie were weak, usually that makes a movie mid but this movie is still great even with weak villains because well its just good

This was a fun ride ngl first one was with lot of ideas and all over the place.

yea they did Starro as well as possible imo. made him legitimately scary but somehow still able to sympathize with. pretty cool portrayal.

One of the most disrespected villains in the mcu and one of the FEW that actually had legitimate claims as to why she was doing what she did. To bad the movie barely focused on those claims and instead settled for b level humor and a very very weak 3rd act

Lol and that’s kinda what happens when movies are based off of comics. Not everything was mind blowing or meant to be and infinity war type event. And that’s fine. everyone who reads them will tell you what made a writer great was a consistent storyline run.

you think that a story line that explores asgards history of blood and war which they could tie in to ragnarok and her legitimate claim to the throne while in the midst of her brother the god of thunder interrupting her takeover with less jokes would be BAD????

srsly. drop the s***. have an actual thought and engage. what sounds bad about that? and keep in mind the movie had ALL the potential for these story lines to come to fruition but instead settled on the easy, less messy route with jokes a–plenty.

thats not exactly what kinda "happens" with cbms. infinity war isnt the standard. if there is a good story and its based off of a good run, theres no need to sugar coat things or make it more accessible to audiences.

the "fun, colorful, bright, different, refreshing, fun" shyt isnt the standard for cbms. and u may not be saying that directly, but the championing of this film and others like it definitely give a false sense of whats narratively important.
