That Zappe hype was wild for about 5 minutes tonight. Then we got quickly reminded that we’re a bad football team.

Those two first drives by zappe were not even that impressive to me. The meyers td pass, meyers was wide open by 10 yards and he damn near misses him completely.

Our defense just couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down because of broken play scrambles.

Not that this is news to anyone, but this teams best chance of winning is grinding out long offensive possessions, and letting the defense hold the opponent to under 17.

I don’t really care if it’s Mac or zappe at this point. Neither are pure gunslingers that will get the job done with any WR core, so

i care more about mac's development this season than wins and losses, so yea mac playing mediocre to poor is not encouraging.

that said there's still a half season for him to improve. he's the guy this year. and hopefully he earns the job for 2023 but we'll see.

Nah, dude sucks this year. Zappe time. Reads the field better and rather take his rookie mistakes. Didn’t trade up for both guys so the best QB should get the starting job. Mac is ass and soft right now or maybe that’s just him
