If we are lucky enough not to screw up getting the #2 pick, you know some dumb team will fall in love with Maye and we’ll be able to get an earth shattering haul of draft picks from them.

So I would take that over MHJ, because we honestly need so much help on offense that if there’s not an obvious franchise QB, we need to get as many draft picks as possible to rebuild all levels of our offense.

idk about all that I just watched his highlights and read his scouting reports, guy has all the tools to be a franchise QB. arm talent a guy like mac couldn’t dream of, maneuverability, can play in structure, can throw on the move, can make off platform throws. no throws he can’t make really. justin herbert is the most frequent comp and I see it.

Oh yeah there’s no question that he has more physical tools than Mac. I think the worry with him (and how some people may be seeing some Mac in him) is from what I’ve seen he’s done super well when he plays against s***ty college defenses, but when he goes against a more complex defense or faces pressure, he makes mistakes.
