I think I made a post saying the exact same s*** last off season, but it bares repeating given that we’re about to have a new QB again.

When you have a rookie QB you absolutely need to do EVERYTHING in your power to give them the best possible offense (O Line, WRs, TEs, RBs). Honestly, screw the defense. I don’t even give a flying f*** if they start sucking next year. It is absolutely critical when you have a rookie QB to build up their confidence in every way you can. That’s not how a defense works, so you can build that later without effecting a single defensive players confidence like with a QB. Thats why I was so pissed when our first three draft picks last year were all on the defensive side. They all seem like good picks, but when you don’t have one of the top 10 established QBs in the league, you need to do whatever it takes to build your young QBs confidence first.

Trade up for Caleb Williams or getting lucky and getting the 3rd pick and getting MHJ

If we got the 3rd pick and we could get Fields with our 2nd round pick and then drafted MHJ at #3 that would probably be best case scenario right now.
