Vrabel available
Do not want unless we’re able to get a high pick for Bill.
Even then, I’d still prefer to just clean house and go with like a Shanahan disciple like Slowick. Why get rid of Bill for someone who is one of his disciples but not as good?
Penix the new Tua. It’s Caleb, Maye, or McDaniels
Josh McDaniels p old and short, but you’re right, he can probably throw a mean spiral

This. I’m sure Mayo will be a solid coach. Vrabel is a fine coach as well. But firing Bill to hire a Belichick acolyte is weak. It shows Kraft’s inability to move on from the past. If he’s serious about change, take a swing. Hire from the Shanahan or McVay coaching tree. Slowick or Fleury.

I think I’m with you but for the simple fact that Vrabel comes from a defensive background. I’d want to replace bill with an offensive guy. that said I think vrabel is a good coach and I won’t be complaining if we hire him.
Get McDaniels back, if the bears draft Williams we have to go MHJ. Really would hate to go lineman because we’re a little ass at picking up players but f*** it. I feel like maybe we get a decent wr in the 2nd but maybe we trade our 3 for Bowers and another 2nd. Move back to like 8
My man Mikey Reiss looked like he was about to drop a fire freestyle with the hoodie and Beats on, he just needed Tim Westwood

Yeah something like that
I'm still mostly ambivalent to whether we keep or fire belichick. it really would depend on who the replacement is.
it's a very interesting couple days here as we await the announcement but i dont have a strong take on what i want the decision to be
We don’t have options for a replacement really for Bill unless Harbaugh down
I read an article from today that basically said BB stated he’s ok with not being the gm. I feel like we let someone else draft this year. Offense not his forte and that’s what needs the most help
Feel like if we’re getting Vrabel, we’ll know that Bill is out by the end of the week.
And if it’s either Mayo or Bill staying, there will be no official word by the end of the week.
Also, I’m very surprised that I haven’t heard a single thing about another team requesting to interview Mayo yet, with so many teams searching for coaches rn.

BB confirmed gone

thanks Bill. all good things come to an end
damn.
If we were going to totally clean house and go in a totally different direction, I’d be a little nervous but also excited
But the fact that we’re just trading in our 1990 Ferrari for a 2020 Camaro (since we’re getting either Vrabel or Mayo)…yeah I kinda f***in hate that
Also, it will be beyond hilarious to me if we keep Groh as the manager
The biggest problem last season was management not coaching. So you would have to convince me that Bill did 100% of everything on the management side (which he definitely didn’t from what I’ve heard over years of reading Pats stuff) to convince me that Groh is the right guy for the job.
They’re firing the wrong guy if they don’t fire Groh too.
Alternate reality where we win the eagles and dolphins games and judon + gonzo don't get hurt
Thank you Bill
I like Jerod Mayo. It's hard to know if he will be a good HC or not but the guy is very likable. In terms of him versus Vrabel, I could definitely see the case for not going with another hard-ass coach (Vrabel) but rather wanting more of an atmosphere change in Mayo who is seemingly less intense and hard-nosed.
really good statements from bill and bob kraft just now.
