Im #TeamBaker on this one. The cops by Logan airport are massive d***heads. I almost got a ticket 2 months ago cuz some tubby cop was arguing with my friend and made him look dumb so he wanted to give ME a ticket

Basically said the cops shouldn’t give him tickets because he pays them with his tax dollars, then doubled down on the dumb comment a few days ago lol

Realistically, I could definitely see us starting out 3-0 — Seahawks at home is doable and then Jets on a Thursday could also happen

After seeing Bo Nix’s debut, Mayo made the right choice.

It was Wolf that made the draft choices, but also I don’t think Nix was ever in consideration.

Supposedly McCarthy was, but I don’t think they ever got serious about even going with him

I would assume if that’s the case it would be a full on red shirt year for him, which would be awesome

But in order for that to be the case, there would need to not be any long stretches of adversity. It will be interesting to see how we bounce back when we inevitably hit a rough patch

I was mostly referring to the decision to sit Drake Maye for at least the first half of the season. Nix looked NFL ready in preseason, but that doesn’t mean too much once week 1 comes around. He looked like a rookie yesterday. But to your point I’m glad Bo Nix was never a serious option for this team. Maye clearly has a higher ceiling.

Our defense is pretty underrated it’s just they have so many snaps since the offense never does anything

Last year that was definitely the case, but the offense definitely seemed capable of sustaining some drives with the run game against the Bengals
