I never agreed with the comp of Maye’s running style to Josh Allen and Herbert — saw a lot of people describe Maye as having a big body like them, and I don’t agree with that. He’s way lighter and not even as remotely difficult for defenders to tackle as Allen

Where he absolutely excels above a lot of QBs in his running though is: being able to read when run lanes are open, having ELITE acceleration, and great decision making/intuition with his sliding

I’ve been a Stan of Caleb Williams game since his sophomore season in college, so this weekend is going to be very difficult

I love Drake and think he’s got a lot of potential, but I 100% feel like we missed out on the next great one

Obviously it’s going to make it even more difficult to watch given that Caleb has amazing weapons, and our weapons are probably worse than what he had in college (Bears coach is a dumbass tho)

I mean Maye made solid plays yesterday (nothing amazing, maybe even a little below league average given that horrible int at the start), but I still feel like the Bears troubles are solely placed on the coaches hands.

There’s no excuse for having that much offensive talent and having them be consistently covered up as they kept showing on the replays

I do hope that Maye beats out Caleb in the long run, but if you saw Caleb’s games against Carolina and Jacksonville, those are legit two of the top games of any QB (rookie or not) this whole season

On the draft — I see OT being what some are looking at, and I 100% would prefer an Offensive Tackle over Wide Receiver if there was a Joe Alt level OT available.

But from what I’ve seen, Will Campbell seems to be the #1 “OT” prospect, and yet a lot of evaluators are saying he’s very possibly going to be switched to Guard at the NFL level because of his arm length.

As much as we need help across the O Line (including Guard), I do not want to use a top 8 pick on a Guard when Tet is available (unless you are positive that Campbell will be a high quality starting Tackle)

Also as much as we suck, I highly doubt that we will be drafting high enough to draft Hunter (he would be the obvious pick if he were available)
