To be fair, Josh’s offense is like a fine wine. Give him time to work with Drake, give them time to get comfortable with each other, give Drake time to learn a whole new way of approaching things on a higher level of complexity and I think he’ll do just fine.
I suggest not reading too much into stuff until the second half of the season
You’re right, and you make an excellent point. Josh’s strongest asset as an OC is his ability to adapt and change the entire identity of the offense if necessary (2018 Super Bowl run).
rivalry jerseys for week 11 vs jets. pretty solid i'd say
I get the comparisons to the titans and colts but I love them
lets see what we got
This might be another long season
Right after I made that comment we went 0-100 on both offense and defense
Right after I made that comment we went 0-100 on both offense and defense
And then we went 100-0 after I made that comment
i'm not discouraged yet. if we lose this week i will become discouraged.
7 wins was my prediction for the year so i'm not gonna get worked up over 1 loss. the key to this year is to show improvement and get some momentum heading into 2026. lets start with a win this week.
We suck still but boutte is looking like he might have a breakout year
It’s hard to tell if Boutte has developed well, or if he’s benefitting from having a better QB (Maye as opposed to Mac). Though having a better QB will help any receiver. Either way, he was solid on Sunday.
I know he made like one or two big plays, but on average Carlton Davis was actively a negative out there. Maybe it was just matchups, but he got beat a ton.
Not at all a good look for the guy we gave the second biggest bag of money to in the offseason if I’m not mistaken.
Big win
Two big areas I see us needing to improve consistency with:
O Line Play (no surprise), specifically Moses has been a weak link
Secondary (big surprise), but should get better once Gonzo gets healthy
GREAT WIN
