I don’t want to jinx it cause I know our history with wide receivers
But I really think Kyle Williams is going to be the one to finally break the trend. I keep wondering how he lasted until the third round, I know he’s a bit short but I think he’s got way too much speed for that to matter (and he’s not a dufus with his routes and hands like Thornton was). I think he’s got WR1 potential without question.

i'm just watching this now so idk any interesting takeaways, but its cool to hear vrabes and maye on a podcast
I know Campbell and Wilson were involved in that fumble, but aside from that they looked great.
Campbell especially stood out as phenomenal. People that were saying “BuT hIs ArMs ArE sHoRt” gonna be looking like absolute fools
11 wins this year

I know it’s only preseason, but Drake has been so-so thus far. Hopefully Josh is saving all of his scheming for the regular season.

To be fair, Josh’s offense is like a fine wine. Give him time to work with Drake, give them time to get comfortable with each other, give Drake time to learn a whole new way of approaching things on a higher level of complexity and I think he’ll do just fine.
I suggest not reading too much into stuff until the second half of the season
I never follow preseason but how does the team look honestly. I wasn’t sold on maye last year so I’m curious if he’s had a good camp

i similarly dont follow preseason (and scarcely did so even during the dynasty).
but based off the vibes and blogs/reactions i've seen, i'm not too confident in this team this year. sadly, my prediction is 7-10
the state of patriots fandom is not good. i see a lot of bickering on the timeline about whos more to blame kraft or belichick. and thats fine i mean we deserve to be unhappy as fans since the post brady era has been really really bad so far. hopefully vrabel can be the positive change we need. i say vrabel instead of maye because while a good QB can make the world of difference, our problems in the post-brady era have been that of a systemically bad franchise, not a franchise that just needs a better QB. we are at risk of becoming like the jets - where even if they get a solid QB like geno smith or sam darnold, it doesnt matter.
i still have love for the krafts despite the warranted criticism. and i hate to say what i'm about to say, but perhaps when Bob dies and Jonathan takes over, that will be the change we need. because while Jon is his father's son, he might not run the team the same way. he might learn from the mistakes of this post brady era.
as for elliot wolf, the 2024 draft looks really bad right now. hopefully the 2025 draft is better. if it's another stinker he has to go. but if the 2025 draft/free agency works out well, then maybe he can earn his keep

I mean to be fair, idk what people could expect for this year after every draft prior to this year for like 7 or 8 years has been bottom of the league god awful
This year is a true reset in every sense of the word. Getting 7 wins and a good draft class and good free agent class would be a solid start to build on
rivalry jerseys for week 11 vs jets. pretty solid i'd say
