o line needs to be executed but that maye deep int when we were kinda rolling man... gonna be a what if
great f***ing season and we gained a lot of experience from this run, we'll be right back in the mix next year

its like half and half, drakes biggest issue right now is that he holds the ball way too long. O line isnt helping though. We were spoiled with brady who so rarely made a bad decision and would have the ball out of his hands in 2 seconds
His reading defenses need to improve.
His o-line need to improve
And to piggy back on what you said

Need to pump the breaks on the Campbell hate, his knee might be messed up and he faced a gauntlet of Pass Rushers in the postseason, and he was p damn solid the first two months of the season before the injury
Gonzalez legit might be one of the best draft picks in the history of the organization. I love that man
Man nothing will put a smile on my face more than to see this o-line upgraded and get a real WR1 and let Drake come back for a revenge tour.
But looking at him after this game. His confidence looks shaken not motivated.
Defense was so good the whole first half just needed a couple of those plays to be turnovers smh. So many almost strips and picks

It is pretty cool that we have the best corner in the NFL
It needs to be said how bad josh mcdaniels was last night
He wasn’t on point but no matter how we chalk it up it’s hard to win when you’re getting dominated by a 4man rush
Even Mahomes got mollywhopped twice now cuz of that
Ngl this L and the eagles one really didn’t hurt me like that. The giants ones a different story.
Just more annoyed than anything we didn’t put up more of a fight. I’m not one for moral victories cuz I think we coulda won but still a hell of a turnaround to start the Vrabel era

If we get at least one in the 5 or so years then this gets washed away but you just never know and making it this far is tough. Glad we have Maye and Vrabel though

I just dont understand the lack of misdirection, rollouts, anything to try to keep them off balance. We finally have a qb that can run and we never take advantage of it
I remember when burrow lost that sb they kept saying the o-line this the o-line that.
Shame all the blame is falling directly on Maye but I guess that comes with being a QB
I think it’s a little of both. Will Campbell was getting destroyed all night, but Drake was also holding the ball way too long, missing easy throws, and stepping directly into pressure. He was playing really sped up.
really hope the team is aggressive in improving the roster this offseason. we need to go all in while drake is on his rookie deal.
disappointing super bowl, obviously. but still - this season exceeded all expectations. the season as a whole was a massive success

Strangely, I think the Eagles loss was the most painful for me. Mostly because we were coming off the 28-3 comeback Super Bowl, and I thought we would steam roll Philly. Plus, the game was just weird. We were playing a style of offense that didn’t really suit us, there were questionable calls like the Ertz touchdown, and of course the Butler situation.
I don’t think Malcolm Butler would have won us the game. Those Philly receivers were so tall and Butler is a smaller corner. But it also couldn’t have hurt to play him either.

Man we only needed one stop in that game and Malcolm was in his prime
Best believe he would’ve gotten them to punt at least once
I’ve been thinking about where we go from here into the next Offseason and my thoughts are: we cannot treat this roster as an AFC Championship roster
And by that I mean that we need to make moves as if we are still in the rebuilding phase just like we did last year. And what we did well last year is accumulate as much talent (without sacrificing locker room/leadership) as possible — regardless of position.
We didn’t NEED to have our two biggest contracts last year be for Milton and Carlton, since we already had Baramore and Gonzo. But we got them because they upped the overall talent of our roster, even if those weren’t our biggest positions of need.
So while I hope we are able to fill up the O Line and get a #1 WR and get a good Edge in Free agency and the draft, I think the most important thing is that we don’t overpay for a player that isn’t worth the money and that we don’t overdraft a guy that ends up sucking just to fill those positions.
Because our team is not good enough yet. And it’s ok to admit that we got to the Super Bowl in large part because of schedule, and next season we have a much tougher schedule.
