Yeah, it was weird to see. Everything looked off. A couple weeks ago after the Seattle game there was a lot of talk about how much he was trying to improve his technique. I didn’t see that today. The timing on all of his throws looked off. He was throwing off his back foot at times, he put White and Edelman in dangerous spots, his pocket awareness was clearly off, and even the throws he completed looked strange. He’s throwing the ball and it’s all coming from his upper body.

To be fair to him though, he had to make most of his throws under extremely heavy pressure, since our O Line was as decimated as it's ever been in the last decade plus.

That doesn't excuse his lack of pocket presence in terms of not throwing it away quicker instead of taking sacks, but I think it definitely explains the poor technique.

Yeah he had great throwing mechanics first few games but him contracting covid and not being able to play might’ve brought back the rust and then all of a sudden he’s falling back into bad habits. I think he’ll play well next week. They just need more weapons on the perimeter but Cam is the answer for the pats

Cam held onto the ball way too long on a few plays, but, again, to be fair to him — our guys probably didn’t create a lot of separation. That said, he should just throw the ball away instead of taking the sack. He’s not managing drives well.
