We had one year to tank properly and secure a high enough draft pick to get Tom’s replacement in probably the deepest QBs in the top 10 of a draft in a decade or maybe longer and we f***ing blew it
its hard to imagine a belichick pats team ever going worse than 7-9 tbh. i mean telling the best coach of all time to actively tank more than what he did with our roster last year is tough (our roster stunk). we don't have a HC who can tank. we have a HC who wins. poor us.
i mean okay he could have traded gilmore last year but beyond that idk what else he could have done.

I know.
That post was more about the frustration that we didn't get lucky and lose the Jets game or the Cardinals game that were super close and could've given us a higher drafted pick, than it was about wishing that we had done something different.

Tim Tebow with the offensive “weapons” we had last year?
Bro, there’s no way he would have won 1 single game

Couldn't have done any worse than cams numbers lol
The most interesting thing about Kraft's q&a today was that he acknowledged that they haven't drafted well recently, and said they're taking a different approach this year.
I'm really curious if that's true, and if so, what they're doing differently/what they think went wrong.
interesting feeling being a fan who is getting his hopes up that we trade up to draft a QB. never been in this position before, lol.
I'm trying to keep assuming we WON'T get one of the top 5 QBs so I don't get let down. but truthfully I'm excited about it.
now I can feel how other fans build up the hype to the draft so hard for so long and then get crushed when their team doesn't do anything big. having a HOF QB for 20 years is way better than this. ha.

I need Lance / Fields in a Pats jersey like I need oxygen
looking like edelman might be at the end of the line, as Karen Guregian reported that due to his chronic knee troubles, she doubts he'll last more than a few games this season. he's about to turn 35.
I sort of hope he retires now if his knees are as bad as they're saying, rather than trying to make it through another season.

Noooo, I was really hoping he had at least one more season in him after that Seattle game last year
But yeah I obvi want the best for him too
