I love when he really raps instead of doing whatever the f*** he does a lot of nowadays.

When he’s on his s*** I can count on one hand the people that can do it as good. And most of them are certified legends.

I’m not the type to downplay his music post acid rap. But he was amazing man. One verse of his could be more impactful and poignant than some folks whole tracks. His verse on we are is still phenomenal.

I don’t need him off the xans or whatever substances he was abusing throughout that time period. But I do need that rapping back.

For sure. I think that Israel track is post Acid Rap though, right? He was rapping in a couple of those random 4 tracks that he released a couple years ago that featured I Might Need Security.

Yeah Israel is post acid rap and pre surf if I’m remembering correctly. Like around the time he was doing Baby Blue with Bronson when he was pushing the social experiment stuff.

And while I’m at that subject that s*** was hard too. Maybe wasn’t the most lyrical stuff but the art was magnificent.
