It was criticizing the US for s*** like the number of incarcerated in the US, when China has locked up that many just in a few years, or how the US didn’t do enough for lgbt rights when that pretty much isnt even a concept that is acknowledged in either of those places

It's not a conspiracy. News outlets ask the cops what happened, and then they print what the cops say. Do you expect the cops to call a killing unjustified? Are you that dim?
