that's definitely a big man on the moon thing that's missing. I love this album already but that would have been nice
Agreed. I 100% understand what you guys mean about the production.
Man them strings on PPDS were excellent & are missed on this album. Could of did some real damage tbh
Man there's this one snippet that dissapeared off the earth that I was praying would be on here, it was these cosmic ass chords that sounded dot produced
I will say Daytrip having a huge hand in this s*** is kinda eh lol & it’s strange Dot chose this direction & strayed from the sound he gave to the OG days

SB2H is still my favorite Cudi album along with PPDS but I’d put this up against anything released in the past couple years creatively. It’s amazing how it doesn’t sound like anything else out there, including records he’s made previously, while also sounding exactly like what you’d expect a Kid Cudi album in the year 2020 to sound like.

Yeah was super surprised that Cudi chose him to produce the bulk of MOTM3. When Cudi said he wanted to “turn up the f***ing jams” in that interview a few months back tho it makes sense he’s going for that current hype sound

I’m saying that’s literally my only complaint on this whole album. The production is honestly fine but man strings would’ve took it to another level
That makes sense for the point you were making before. Especially since it’s like half the album lol

Couldnt agree more

My boomer ass was expecting A Kid Named Cudi TGIF jams on this one

well obviously he’s a contrarian lol
na but real s***, Daytrip is the worst part of this album and it’s obvious
It’s the sound Cudi wanted.. man he had every opportunity to get Emile & Pat to produce the bulk of it. It was such a tease for Cudi to mention Emile when he only had co production on Sept 16TH

Not really

Needed more plain pat

Bruh if this had the cinematic strings on here, it would be the best MOTM imo that’s my biggest issue with this album

I love you
