Ok so now that the dust has settled I think this is a solid project after relistening to it again after nearly a year of not listening

I always thought it was good but idk why but I never really listened to it that much like WLR

After watching the doc and seeing how cudi really is as an artist and person it makes sense how one day he’ll say something like the deluxe is happening and the next it’ll be scrapped. He seems very temperamental and tbh I’m surprised we got a motm3 at all (so glad he followed thru on it tho)

This album still gets daily spins and goes on any playlist I make.

Phenomenal album

He’s a legit artist and not someone who follows a blueprint for their career it’s one of the reasons I’ll always support him. I knows he’s doing what he thinks is dope not what his label or people around him want him to do.

For better or for worse he’s unapologetically himself.

Right but I think you can be your own artist without following the norm but still be decisive in the things you say are going to happen. Now I see how he gets excited about something and is all in one day telling the world about a super cool thing but then something changes either inside or outside himself and it’s gone just like that. If guy would just wait some time until it’s concrete his fans wouldn’t be on such a rollercoaster all the time

It’s jus KTT that don’t fw it , but I’d say 1 to 2 years that’s how it usually works with cudi albums

Not gonna lie this one of his best imo. I initially thought ppds was better but my mind has changed

Guess those will be my top 3. Don’t think I can ever put anything above 1 & 2 though. I’ll see how I feel after 10 years. Gotta sit on it like those to see where it stands among them

Such a great album, man Cudi gave us every type of jam on this, and still made them connect and work well together
