Denimtears had him on DMT Cudi had him on shrooms i think bro had a bad trip and found solace in the familiarity of Christianity
that ye plug lmfao? You probably right tho. Ain't a good idea to mix strong psychedelics when you are mentally unstable already. I think a perfect example of the change is how use this gospel went from a song about the law of attraction and manifesting things to a song about using the lord's gospel to get to heaven or some s*** lol
Ye bleached his hair a few weeks after this
"I bleached my hair for every time I could've died"
And she just bleached her a******

This s*** was mad wild, its like they retroactively erased... I think it was a week or so,from existence. Literally no one has spoke on it ever since.
Ye was definitely on some doobies at the end of 2018.
Can someone make a 2018 Ye thread? Besides the GOOD album run and TMZ/Trump s*** I don’t really remember what all happened that year

dont forget I Love It was premiered at the P***hub Awards as he was the creative director of the inaugural P***hub Awards on September 6, 2018.
I'm not convinced that the standoff/kidnapping was the (only) thing that made people leave tbh. It seemed more personal towards Ye from what I remember on some "I'm sick of this s***" type of situation. And it's not like the kidnapping was an intentional f*** up from Kanye lol.
Andrew Dawson, who was a frequent Ye collaborator until then, never worked with Kanye again I think. Zack Djurich was an engineer who worked on the Wyoming albums and went to Uganda and he never worked with Kanye again either. On the other hand, Mike Dean got back with Ye but wasn't involved with JIK until the later stages of the album process.
BTW is this the only music related stream Kanye did there? I remember it being longer lol
I found this video mentioned in a reddit thread. At around minute 32:00 Che Pope talks about mental health and certain environments making it worse and uses Kanye in Uganda as an example.
"Africa was kinda crazy, it was an intense situation"
So perhaps the kidnapping sitatuation set Kanye off and he had an episode?
Uganda / mind control era was insane. Anyone have those periscope rants recorded?

dam never seen this. The vibes look cool though. i guess this is before everything went to s***
Andrew Dawson liked this tweet about it, think theres a chance more people on the trip was part of the kidnapping

So Kanye’s security was scared he might get kidnapped by local dudes he hired to take him back to his resort, but also yesjulz almost got kidnapped too? And this resulted in some very close friends and collaborators leaving Africa early and never speaking to Kanye again? Makes no sense
