Atlanta didn't start off all that crazy. A bunch of FX shows were "surreal" and "dark" like Man Seeking Woman or w/e. Crazy how it's the defacto reference for that style now

They really just find and replaced "give stand up comedians a TV show" with rapper which seems to be working out. I say "rappers" but Gambino and D***y were, uh, different from most rappers.
