I have no faith in the money laundering scheme that is Netflix and this looks okay but it's not the best showcase of what the show could be.

the original version did release they were mini episodes on youtube

they probably used those to shop it round to streaming services and made a whole new show after they got a deal the netflix version was announced at the end of 2022

Donald Glover came from the sketch comedy world. There's always some of that. I don't think the show found its signature identity until later- and that's normal. That happens with a lot of TV shows.

eps 3 and 4 are fun, 2 and 1 are aight, 5 is also good. its a nice little project but as is the case with a lot of Vince stuff its very lowkey and doesn't really reach for the starts

just fun to watch really, i wanted more and thats all a show needs tbh
