I swear to you I'm not knocking Nelly either. Pimp Juice is one of the best rappers of all time, his hit making suggest just that.
However, we gotta take our opinions out of this.
Drake is compared to Hov, Kanye, etc. came up independently and then under Lil Wayne, etc. he's respected as a really really good rapper and came into this s*** being known for the bars as well as the hooks and melodies.
Nelly wasn't that. And that's the truth.

He has over 20 records rapping alongside Lil Wayne
If you were outside when Nelly was hot, and in 09' you can EASILY tell the difference.
This is why the Ja Rule comparison falls flat too. They looked at Drake as like, the next best rapper who could also sing and do hooks.
