No matter what he can’t please everybody he’s not catering to them either. He makes music for people who really f*** with him and himself, whatever he wants to make. People just want Trilogy over and over again he has to grow as an artist at some point that’s how he got where he currently is. This is an issue with not only him but many other big name artists.

Drake, for example, while not having such a huge portion of his fans like this, has a decent amount of fans who want him to make another take care. It just seems like most of the vocal weeknd fans expect some weird indie project from him. It's not happening. He's a pop artist. He's a brand. Plus, with MDM not selling much, he's definitely looking to dominate the charts again.

If I really f*** with an artist I respect whatever they wanna put out. I have 3 main people I f*** with heavy everybody else is casual listing for me. MDM easily one of Weeknd’s top projects for me imo. I see what you’re saying tho it just does make sense in the grand scheme of things. I just think if people really don’t fw with it just keep it to yourself don’t listen to it. Don’t have to rash on the artist to put out the same s*** that already exists in their discog.

I’m gonna be a fan of his work regardless. Heartless is really dope to me just a shame the ones who scream and whine the most get the shine. We’ll just have to wait and see for the album. Personally I think they’ll all switch up when it drops but I could be wrong.
