thegreatdivineI'm looking at the tour dates and so far, it's 20 shows spaced out well enough but the voice is very unpredictable. The tiniest thing can f*** your vocals up as a singer. He was probably good to go physically but the voice just wasn't there. Good call on his part ending the show and not making things worse for himself by trying to push through it.
he's really going for it at his shows lately, i'm not sure he's fully adjusted to pushing his voice like that. I think that's the reason why.

It depends on the kind of damage. I remember Adele has damaged her vocal chords twice, back in 2011 and again in 2017 and she had to get surgery and learn how to sing again. It can get really bad. Hope it's different for Abel because he's just getting started with his tour.

Hopefully none, this was supposed to be the last stop of this leg before the Toronto date got cancelled
The next show isn’t until Sep 22 so hopefully that’s still good
If not that would be the 3rd or 4th time rescheduling the Toronto show
