Every artist who ever hit #1 are superstar level artists, going all the way back to 2015. The only two outliers you can point to are Daddy Yankee and J Balvin who were only #1 for one month each. And I guess Khalid, who was briefly #1 for two months. But that’s 4 fluke months in a ten year period.

Man, from his humble, low-key beginnings (I say low-key because weeknd used to be a artist where you would ask if a friend knew about him, and low-key hope not so you could put them on) to the freaking stratosphere. Really inspiring. I wonder if he ever wanted this level of success and stardom or if it was just a result of the new music/opportunities he started getting. Dude has 18 songs that have more streams than probably 80 or 90 percent of other artists entire catalogs. Not that that makes those artists any less great, but geez.
